Reviews debutalbum "Infected from birth"

Germ Bomb

Infected By Birth
AreaDeath Productions
2010
Gutters to Gothenburg. Swedish duo who sounds as if they learned to speak English straight from their MOTORHEAD records proffers 25 minutes of Thrash spawned from similar pressures of nuclear annihilation, new world order, white trash and boredom. Infected from Birth the hate-propelled rocket to escape the planet’s poisoned people paints a glowing portrait of post-apocalyptic family in their Sunday mohawks with munitions for breakfast while mutant babies, blistered and radiated, are set upon by faceless reapers in hazmat uniforms. Roaming  inhabitants of uncertain wasteland fit for Mad Max and Snake Pliskin, Germ Bomb’s buzzsaw punk ‘n bump owes unequal parts to aforementioned warthogs, Mondo Bizzaro-era RAMONES (“Black Hole”), Death ‘n Rollsters ENTOMBED (“The Oath”) and the riot rock of reform school girl, WENDY O WILLIAMS. The cry goes out from the The Interceptor: “This ain’t no life for me, this ain’t no life at all!” Anthems of rejection, addiction and unrepentance which would make for a good bill with VILLAINSSUPERCHRIST or any late night playlist featuring the above. [TD]
